Belarus' Exporter of the Year 2013 winners awarded
MINSK, 5 June (BelTA) – The award ceremony of the winners of the national competition Exporter of the Year 2013 took place in Minsk on 4 June, BelTA has learned.
Winners were named in 18 nominations. The joint company Fidmash was picked in the nomination Mechanical Engineering and Metalwork. The champion title in the nomination Oil-Refining, Chemical and Petrochemical Industry (organizations with the annual exports exceeding $25 million) went to OAO Mozyr Oil Refinery. The victory in the nomination Oil-Refining, Chemical and Petrochemical Industry (organizations with the annual exports under $25 million) went to OAO Domanovo Manufacturing and Trading Factory.
OAO Borisov Plant of Pharmaceutical Drugs was honored in the nomination Production of Commodities for Treatment and Rehabilitation. OAO Display Design Bureau was picked up in the nomination Electronics and Instrument Engineering. OAO Minsk Electrical Engineering Plant n.a. V.Kozlov was named the best in the nomination Electrotechnical and Optical Mechanic Industry. OAO Mogotex was picked up as a winner in the nomination Light Industry, while OAO Babushkina Krynka – Management Company of the Mogilev Dairy Babushkina Krynka Holding Company was the best in the nomination Food Industry. Oblrapsagroservice Company bagged the win in the nomination Agriculture.

The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry diplomas went to the joint venture ZOV-LenEuroMebel, Pinskdrev Holding Company, the joint company Conte Spa, Belsnabprom, Makhina-TST, Zapagromash, Novogrudok Gas-Fitting Plant, Lida Milk Canning Plant, Brest Meat-Packing Plant, Brest Distillery Belalko, Gazosilikat, the joint Belarusian-Austrian company Raising, Belenergoremnaladka, National Park Belovezhskaya Pushcha, the foreign private company Multipack, Avgust-Bel and Integral Holding Company.
Exporter of the Year is an annual nationwide competition. The major goal of the competition is to promote export-oriented production as well as the prestige of Belarusian producers on the world market, enhance the quality and competitive ability of the exported products, works, services.
The competition is organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry jointly with the government stakeholders, oblast and Minsk city halls, the National Academy of Sciences, the High-Tech Park Administration, the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange, Eximgarant of Belarus insurance company and a number of public organizations.
