MINSK, 21 November (BelTA) - Companies affiliated with Bellesbumprom Concern will present the Belarusian furniture industry at Mebel 2017, the largest annual furniture show and the main industry event in Russia and Eastern Europe, BelTA learned from the press service of Bellesbumprom Concern.
These will be Belarus’ major manufacturers and exporters: Pinskdrev Holding Company, Molodechnomebel, Bobruiskmebel, ZOV-Lenevromebel, Gomel Furniture Factory Progress, Gomeldrev and Rechitsadrev. Representatives of the Belarusian furniture companies will participate in the business program of the exhibition.
MOGILEV, 10 November (BelTA) – The festival of disabled artists Together We Can Do More will take place in the Mogilev Oblast Center of People’s Art, Cultural and Social Education from 22 to 26 November, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Culture Ministry.
The Union State event will draw together delegations of artists from across the country, Minsk, and six Russian regions: artistic teams, individual performers, applied and visual disabled artists over 18 years of age. The lineup of artists includes winners of national and regional festivals and contests, and also members of delegations invited by the organizers.
The participants will demonstrate their artistic achievements in various nominations: folk, academic, and pop music, sign singing, choreography, instrumental music, poetry, bard songs, and also applied, visual and performance art.
MINSK, 21 November (BelTA) – Members of the Belarusian parliament are intent on tight cooperation with the Georgian parliament. Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko made the statement as he met with Chairman of the Georgian Parliament Irakli Kobakhidze on 20 November, BelTA has learned.
Vladimir Andreichenko noted the visit of the Georgian delegation was important because it was the first parliamentary visit of such a magnitude in the history of the bilateral relations. “Belarusian MPs are intent on tight cooperation with the Georgian parliament,” said the speaker.
In his opinion, a lot of work needs to be done to advance cooperation in various spheres. More vigorous contacts via the friendship groups previously established in the two parliaments will facilitate it among other things. Vladimir Andreichenko said he believes that the heads of the friendship groups could put together roadmaps and plan their work using the roadmaps in order to establish tighter cooperation.
MINSK, 14 November (BelTA) – The Belarusian Central Election Commission will publish the detailed information about the elections to the local councils of deputies of the 28th convocation on the website and in the SB. Belarus Segodnya newspaper, Chairperson of the Central Election Commission Lidia Yermoshina told the media following a meeting with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, BelTA has learned.
“Tomorrow the Central Election Commission will hold a session to adopt the schedule of all the electoral events. It will be released on the website and in the SB. Belarus Segodnya newspaper. We will be provided some space in the 16 November edition to publish a whole collection of articles on the nomination of candidates vying for seats on election commissions and candidates for deputies, and also on the signature collection,” Lidia Yermoshina said.
