MINSK, 15 October (BelTA) – President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and President of Venezuela Hugo Chavez will discuss the state and prospects of cooperation between the two states in various areas during a visit of the Venezuelan leader to Belarus, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian head of state.

MINSK, 13 October (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has signed Decree No. 527, which provides Belarusian Government with a right to issue government bonds of the Republic of Belarus on the Russian market in 2010-2011. MINSK, 12 October (BelTA) – In January-September inflation in Belarus totaled 6.8%, 1.1% down over the same months last year. In September 2010 inflation stood at 1.6%, BelTA learnt from the National Statistics Committee.
The average consumer price index growth slowed down as well. In January-September 2010 it made up 0.7% against 0.8% in January-September 2009.
A reminder, in 2009 inflation in Belarus reached 10.1%. In 2010 inflation is projected within 8-10%.

MINSK, 7 October (BelTA) – More preferences will be granted to foreign investors in Belarus via amendments to Belarus president decree No. 10 of 6 August 2009, Sergei Trofimovich, Head of the Central Office for Investments of the Belarusian Economy Ministry, told media on 7 October.

MINSK, 4 October (BelTA) – Belarus and Lithuania are set to sign an agreement on small-scale local border traffic any day now, Chairman of the State Border Committee of Belarus Igor Rachkovsky told media on 4 October.
