Mogilevliftmash increases export by 30% in 2008

In 2008, Mogilevliftmash exported products at the amount of almost $147 million, or 30% up as against 2007, BelTA learnt in the company. The Mogilev-based company increased the export of elevators of various modifications and spare parts for them to the CIS countries. The share of the export to the Russian Federation reached 75%. Mogilevliftmash has set up a wide dealer network in Russia (50 dealer centres in various regions). In 2008, Mogilevliftmash produced 8824 elevators of various modifications or 26.1% up as against 2007. All in all, in the period under review, the company produced products at the amount of Br392.1 billion, or 37.7% up as against 2007. The company has increased the output owing to the modernization of its production facilities conducted during the recent years. Mogilevliftmash has launched the production of new elevators which are in great demand on the market. At present, Mogilevliftmash produces 70 models of elevators including 10 models which are exported to the EU countries. In 2008, Mogilevliftmash produced consumer goods at the amount of Br24.5 billion, or 15.3% up as against 2007. The products of the company are certified in the quality management system ISO 9001-2001 and European standards DIN EN ISO 9001-2000. In 2008, the share of the certified products produced by Mogilevliftmash reached more than 94%. Mogilevliftmash is a leading producer of elevators in the CIS countries. The company produces various models of passenger (from 400 to 1000kg), freight elevators (from 100 to 6300kg), elevators for hospitals and others. Mogilevliftmash also produces elevator’s equipment and spare parts for it, various consumer goods. Mogilevliftmash was founded in 1967. The company employs more than 4 thousand professionals.
