Mogilev to host international investment forum October 9

The 4th international investment forum Mogilev Oblast – Region of Open Cooperation will open in Mogilev on October 9, BelTA learnt in the economy committee of the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee. The goal of the forum is to promote the Mogilev oblast as the profitable place to set up and develop business. In the course of the second day of the forum, its participants will visit various industrial facilities of the region. They will take part in the work of the three seminars: “Agriculture and Processing”, “Architecture and Town Planning” and “Small Towns”. These are those avenues which are expected to be developed in the Mogilev oblast and they have high potential, specialists noted. According to specialists of the economy committee of the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee, the forum will consider such accompanying aspects for investment as mineral resources, real estate, shares of private companies, free sites in the Free Economic Zone Mogilev and others. Attending the forum will be about 700 participants from 24 countries worldwide including the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Moldova, Poland, Lithuania, France, Germany, Austria, Sweden and others. Representatives of famous world banks, European business companies, regional and national authorities, chambers of commerce and industry of foreign countries, leading Belarusian banks will be among the participants of the investment forum. The participants of the gathering will get familiar with the terms of business conduct in the region, the legal-treaty base and real estate. They will have a number of business sessions. The programme of the forum also includes visits to production and social facilities of the Mogilev oblast, talks with businessmen of the Mogilev oblast, a presentation of an exhibition of the Mogilev-based producers.
