Mogilev to host 10th International Music Festival Zolotoi Shlyager on October 12-14

The 10th International Music Festival Zolotoi Shlyager will be held in Mogilev on October 12-14, head of the culture department of the Mogilev oblast executive committee Anatoly Sinkovets told BelTA.

Pop stars of Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania and Italy will take part in the festival. As always, the festival will open with Romansiada featuring Sergei Zakharov of Russia, Virgilius Noreika of Lithuania, Yelena Materinko of Belarus and soloists of the folk instruments orchestra of the Mogilev oblast philharmonics.

Several other events, including Alexander Buinov’s concert will be held.

The last concert ‘Twenty Years On’ on October 14 will be dedicated to popular songs of the 20th century. Performing at the concert will be Liudmila Senchina and Renata Ibragimova of Russia, Nikolai Gnatyuka of Ukraine, Yadviga Poplavskaya and Alexander Tikhonovich of Belarus, Italian band Ricci e Poveri, Russian and Belarusian popular bands of the 1980s Poyushchye Gitary, Vernye Druzhya, Syabry.

The Presidential Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus will be performing at the festival as well.
