Mogilev Red Cross supports Ukrainian refugees

MOGILEV, 6 August (BelTA) – The Mogilev Oblast organization of the Belarusian Red Cross Society has launched a support project for refugees from Ukraine, BelTA learnt from Chairman of the oblast organization Andrei Nikitin.

The organization is collecting clothes, footwear, bedlinen, personal hygiene products, long-lived foodstuffs for the residents of the region.

“A total of 68 citizens of Ukraine addressed us from 1 March to 4 August. All of them are provided with food and hygiene products at least two times a month. The district organizations of the Belarusian Red Cross Society also provide clothes and medications,” Andrei Nikitin said. Besides, Mogilev Oblast residents can make contributions on the recently opened bank account.
