Germany intends to invest in Mogilev oblast
MINSK, 15 October (BelTA) – Germany intends to invest in the Mogilev oblast. On 15-16 October, a delegation of representatives of the German economy and cultural establishments in Belarus is in Mogilev on a visit. The delegation is led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Belarus Gebhardt Weiss, BelTA learnt from the German Embassy in Belarus. The German delegation is expected to meet with the leadership of the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee and visit two enterprises of the city. On these days the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Robert Bosch Fund are organizing seminars and lectures for students of the Kuleshov State University of Mogilev. The relevant economic and political topics related to Germany and also new fellowship programs will be offered to the Mogilev students. Gebhardt Weiss and the leadership of the university will discuss the prospects of the research cooperation. On 15 October, the Goethe Institute in Minsk will hold a seminar for German teachers of Mogilev. On 16 October, Gebhardt Weiss intends to take part in the opening of the Belarusian-German twin cities meeting. Attending the forum will be representatives of 16 twin cities of Belarus and Germany. During the forum, the sides will discuss the prospects of the mutual cooperation.БЕЛТА
