Cycling events added to program of Vytoki festival in Gorki
The 30km and 77km cycling races will be held during the national cultural and sports festival "Vytoki. A Step Towards Olympus" in Gorki. The sports event will start at the Grieving Mother memorial a2 12.00 on 22 July, BelTA learned from the Gorki district administration.
"We have prepared a really interesting route along interesting places and beautiful landscapes," said Ruslan Dargel, a representative of the organizing committee. “The route will pass through the picturesque places of Gorki District and will take the participants to the agricultural town of Lenino that houses the unique military museum and to the agro-town of Gory which is renowned for its beautiful Nikolskaya Krinitsa water spring. The short distance is meant for participants aged between 14-17, the long distance - over 18 years. "
The organizers of the sporting event are the Velo-Gorki Club, the district organization of the the public organization Belaya Rus, and Belarusian State Agricultural Academy. The cycling events will contribute to the popularization of a healthy lifestyle in general and cycling in particular and also to increasing the visibility the sights of Gorki District.
