National juniour athletics championships open in Mogilev
The national juniour athletics championships (U18) were officially opened in Mogilev athletics centre of Olympic reserve on February 8, BelTA was told in the physical culture, sport and tourism department of the Mogilev oblast executive committee. Among the participants are winner of the European champion, silver winner of the 9th summer Olympic festival of youth of Europe Alena Grishko (shot put), the finalists of the European juniour championships Eduard Mikhan (200m, long jump), Ekaterina Boshko, Victoria Manko and Victoria Shevchuk (400m), Vladimir Bondarenko (3,000m) and others. The championship is a qualifying even for the international juniour tournament Russia-Ukraine-Belarus-Latvia which will be held on March 1 in Mogilev.
