Big Bard-Fishing to organize photo contest
MOGILEV, 7 June (BelTA) – A flashgun photo-contest Big Bard-Fishing will be launched in the Grudichino village, Bykhov District, on 5 August as part of the same-name interregional music and sport event, BelTA learnt from head of the jury, well-known Mogilev photographer Alexander Litin.
“By doing this we would like to draw public attention to the music and sport event Big Bard-Fishing, show its brightest moments, narrate through the photos about importance of solicitous attitude to nature, popularize photographs as an art,” Alexander Litin stated.
The contest will include four nominations: Good Biting, Inspiration, Genre Portrait and Landscape. Photo works can be in full color or white-and-black. Every participant provides not more than 10 photos (not more than three for each nomination). Photographs, both printed and electronic, may be sent to the steering committee from 8 August to 8 October 2011.
“The award ceremony will be held during the opening of the exhibition at the 3rd music and sport event Big Bard-Fishing on 2-5 August 2012. Winners will receive diplomas, souvenirs and prizes,” Alexander Litin said.
