Belarus-Russia Union State MPs to discuss assignment of graduates to priority enterprises

A session of the Labor, Social Policy, and Healthcare Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia will take place in Mogilev on 18 July, the assembly’s press service told BelTA.

The MPs will discuss interregional cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation using Mogilev Oblast as an example. They will determine the procedure for preparing the government hour on pursuing a coordinated policy in healthcare within the framework of a session of the Council of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia. Proposals on giving mandatory jobs to school leavers and university graduates at enterprises belonging to priority branches of the economy in the Union State will be discussed as well.

The Union State MPs will also discuss the development of new Union State measures in social sphere and the organization of the events the commission oversees and the Union State budget finances in 2024. During the trip to Mogilev Oblast the Union State MPs will meet with top officials of the Mogilev Oblast administration. They will be made familiar with the operation of healthcare institutions, kindergartens, and the centers that accommodate the elderly and people with disabilities.

Taking part in the session will be representatives of the Standing Committee of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, the Belarusian Education Ministry, the Russian Education Ministry, the ministries of healthcare, culture, labor, and social protection of Belarus and Russia, the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of the Russian Federation, and representatives of the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee.
