Russian participants of EurAsEC cultures festival to perform in Mogilev oblast
MINSK, May 15 (BelTA) – The Russian delegation will perform in the Mogilev oblast as part of the 1st festival of cultures of the EurAsEC states, BelTA learnt from Anatoly Poznenko, art leader of the Zolotye Kupala Show Ballet. Taking part in the concerts in the Mogilev oblast will be Russian bands “Smolenskie Muzhiki”, “Demidovskie Garmonisty”, folk group “Rechenka”, children’s band “Krivichata” and Zolotye Kupala Show Ballet. According to Anatoly Poznenko, during the solemn ceremony of the festival closing in Minsk, the Russian delegation will give the concert timed to the 65th anniversary of Belarus’ liberation from the Nazi invaders. The decision to hold the 1st festival of cultures of the EurAsEC states in Belarus was passed during a session of the EurAsEC Interstate Council in June 2006 on the initiative of the Belarusian President. The main goals of the festival are to form the culture of international communication, to preserve and strengthen the cultural unity of all the nationalities.БЕЛТА
