Bobruisk to host Art Zhyzhal ceramics expo
MINSK, 8 August (BelTA) – An exhibition of the Art Zhyzhal international plein air in ceramics will open in Bobruisk on 8 August, BelTA learnt from the Mogilev oblast executive committee. The expo will feature the works that have been created during the 10th international plein air in ceramics Art Zhyzhal at the Verbki recreation facility. Twenty-five ceramists from eight countries, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Venezuela and Azerbaijan, started their work on 18 July. They were to make two artworks each. Valery Koltygin, head of the plein air, chairman of the Bobruisk office of the Belarusian Union of Painters, stated that his dream is to open a museum of ceramics in Belarus to exhibit the works of the Art Zhyzhal participants. The first ceramics plein air took place in 1992.БЕЛТА
