MOGILEV, 20 June (BelTA) – An event to mark the beginning of the Great Patriotic War will be held in Mogilev Oblast on 22 June, BelTA learnt from the youth policy department of the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee.
MINSK, 14 June (BelTA) – The newsprint Plant in Shklov operates now at design capacity, chairman of the Bellesbumprom concern Vladimir Shulga told BelTA. In May this year, newsprint production was 10% above the design capacity. The plant made only newsprint (about 3,700 tonnes), of which 85.5% was of the “O” grade highest quality (which is used for printing newspapers, books and magazines and other paper products with black and white and color illustrations using high-speed newspaper machines).

VITEBSK, 8 June (BelTA) – Novopolotsk will joint the UNICEF Child Friendly City initiative. Such an agreement will be signed between Novopolotsk Town Hall and the UNICEF office in Novopolotsk on 10 June, BelTA learned from the ideological department of Novopolotsk Town Hall.
MOGILEV, 7 June (BelTA) – A flashgun photo-contest Big Bard-Fishing will be launched in the Grudichino village, Bykhov District, on 5 August as part of the same-name interregional music and sport event, BelTA learnt from head of the jury, well-known Mogilev photographer Alexander Litin.
