Lukashenko commends agricultural workers
State awards and letters of commendation from the Belarusian president have been bestowed upon agricultural workers. Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree № 406 and an executive order on 4 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
Agricultural workers of Belarus have been honored with orders, medals, honorary titles and letters of commendation for services to the country’s agriculture and outstanding performance.
The Order of Labor Glory has been awarded to Director of the Yubileiny agricultural company of Orsha District Aleksandr Firsin, the Order of Honor - to Vyacheslav Anikovich and Nikolai Drozd, tractor drivers of Torguny Company in Dokshitsy District and Rassvet named after K.P.Orlovsky in Kirov District.
Among those awarded with the Medal for Labor Merits are chief agronomist of Novoselki-Luchai of Postavy District Yelena Kostyuk and Director of the Mogilev Oblast State Inspectorate for Seed Production, Plant Quarantine and Protection Sergei Marfel.
The Honored Worker of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus title has been conferred on tractor driver at Niva-Barsuki farm of Kirovsk District Aleksandr Petrankov.
Among those who have been awarded the letters of commendation of the Belarusian president are veterinary doctor of the agriculture department of Postavy Dairy Plant Aleksei Dikovich, head of Diana farm of Shklov District Vladimir Malinovsky, machine milking operator of the Belynichi agricultural company Kolkhoz Rodina Tatyana Pimonova, and also the staff of Vitebsk Broiler Poultry Farm.
