Belarus, U.S. discuss bilateral cooperation
MINSK, 31 October (BelTA) – Belarus-U.S. relations and the ways to develop them in different areas of bilateral cooperation were discussed by Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei and the U.S. delegation led by Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Wess Mitchell, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The parties discussed the current state of Belarus-U.S. relations and ways of their development in various areas of bilateral cooperation in the near and medium term. They also discussed current issues on the international agenda, the situation in the region, the possibilities of bilateral cooperation to de-escalate tensions in the European Region,” the ministry said.
